Good news!

It seems we haven't strayed as far as I thought. This island is actually somewhat close to the Christmas island, as Beckman-san postulated. According to the townsfolk, this is the next stop. However, the Christmas island is opposite of the direction we are being guided. I asked the locals what they thought of our situation, and they said this actually happens every so often in conjunction with the appearance of one Valentino Island, which is apparently not always present. At any rate, we at least have an idea of where we are headed. I don't know how long it will take for us to reach our destination, but at least we can rule out the possibility that this was orchestrated as a trap. I worry that the Marines might still try to use it as such, despite the best efforts of the Vice-Admiral and Commodore, and therefore would ask that everyone stay sharp, but not overdo it. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

I'm beginning to feel a bit more at ease now that we're moving somewhere, even though we don't know where our ultimate destination is. But at least we aren't floundering.

I'm also beginning to think that this mix-up may not be quite the disaster it was made to be. Perhaps we were all just confused, panicked, and upset for a few days. While I still long for my nakama and my home aboard the Thousand Sunny, I've been able to expand my horizons, so to speak, aboard this unique vessel, the Sweet Death Submarine. I've never really been underwater before, having been a Devil Fruit user since before I can remember, and therefore unable to swim. The SDS has a Mini-submarine, very similar to the one we have on the Sunny, and Mello-san was kind enough to teach me how to maneuver the vessel. The sea is amazing! I'm also taking the opportunity to work with a computer genius, and learn from him some new techniques for securing network communications.

Jyabura-san, while out in the mini-submarine, we spotted an unknown island to the west. Shall we attempt to dock there and get our bearings?
